Zoo Safari

This Safari will get your little grey cells moving. What looks so harmless and easy turns very quichly into a tacticle challenge. For 2-4 players from 10 years upwards. Duration: ca. 60 mins.

Contents: 40 Africa cards, 23 zoo orders, 4 pawns and 4 markers.

17 Africa cards form roughly the shape of Africa. Each player chooses where to start. Four (to six, depending on the number of players) orders are placed face up beside 'Africa'. The active player may choose from three possibilities.

- Chatch animals: Move your pawn and take the card on which you landed. Variant: You may deliver ONE Order if (among others) the just taken card is used. 

- Accept zoo order: Put your marker on an order. Only you may now fulfill this order.

- Deliver animals: Combine your cards in a way to fulfill most possible orders. Discard the cards, receive the orders.

At game end the points on the orders are added up. Add points if you managed to fulfill both orders of one zoo. Subtract points for not delivered marked orders. The player with most points wins.

Sounds simple, doesn't it? And it is. If you take it easy and just play along. But sooner rather than later there will be those nagging questions inside you head: Shall I take this, that or even another card? Shall I deliver already or wait? Is it worth it to mark that order? And how will I get the urgently needed elephant?

Zoo Safari playes very nicely with two players.
